Meeting point

Meeting point Sie(h)da

About the meeting point Sie(h)da

Along with other women* among women* – women* for women*.
Since June 1997 there is the meeting point Sie(h)da in the municipality Stuhr and since June 2002 it is in the local supply center 'Briseck', Jupiterstr. 1 settled in Brinkum.
Here women* of all ages and nationalities meet. Some of them have been living in the community for a long time, others have recently been recruited.
Encourage a variety of offers to join an open meeting or join an existing group. Create, contribute your own ideas – individually, according to your needs, expectations, interests and abilities – all this is possible.

Move & Experience

In the Sie(h)da women* have the same interests, hobbies and they try new ways to shape their lives. They have fun together to experience literature or to make music, to experience their body through movement and dance. Some meet to create better living conditions for themselves and others, and work on changes – whether in the local community or beyond. Others want to move things, broaden their personal horizons, increase physical and mental wellbeing, or just have fun with each other.

Linger & Learn

In addition you can find seminars and lectures on professional and personal training, life counseling and current socio-political issues at the Sie(h)da.
For interested artists the Sie(h)da offers the opportunity to publicize their works of art and introduce them to the public. The meeting point is also a place to linger, make contacts, get to know each other, share experiences and just to talk.

Accessible

The Sie(h)da rooms are barrier-free and receive all interested in the offer or exchange of the meeting place.

All are welcome

Also for all LGBTQ + and the interested parties we are currently developing an offer with meetings, lectures and various possibilities.

Save Space

It is important to us that in the Sie(h)da all women* and children can feel safe and secure.
That's why there are eg "closed" groups.
